How do we make such a big difference in Ohio politics?

	We harness the power of thousands of donors, volunteers, and supporters throughout the Buckeye State to elect pro-gun candidates and lobby for pro-gun legislation. This includes waging highly targeted mailings to help pro-gun candidates win key positions. Here you can see a "mailing party" where volunteers gathered to assemble a massive mailing.
	We educate the public by regularly appearing on NRA News, commenting in the media, publishing thousands of articles on our Web site, circulating our popular weekly newsletter, handing out literature at gun shows, and more. When it's necessary, we organize or support protests such as the Open Carry Walks, which helped concealed carry become law in Ohio.
	We work closely with our friends in the legislature to review bills, keep an eye on anti-gun legislation, and craft laws that give citizens the freedom and liberty they deserve. Our leaders have played a key roll in passing many pro-gun laws, including concealed carry. 	We cooperate with other grassroots groups throughout Ohio to support gun rights, conservation, and sporting events. Plus, we work with national organizations, including the NRA and the Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms. CCRKBA recognized our success by naming us "Grassroots Organization of the Year" in 2007 and presenting us with this plaque.
	We make sure your voice is heard loud and clear in the Statehouse by attending key hearings, providing pro-gun testimony, and personally discussing pressing issues with committee members. The Ohio House of Representatives issued a special proclamation in early 2008 to officially honor our efforts to promote liberty and freedom in Ohio.
	We volunteer our time to make Ohio a better place for you, your family, and your friends each and every day. While our work is focused on changing laws in Ohio, our efforts are recognized nationwide. Our articles are quoted by top bloggers, such as Michelle Malkin. Leading politicians actively seek our endorsement. Even celebrity activists such as Ted Nugent and Rush Limbaugh have expressed support for the work we're doing.
