Senate President Doug White to attend open reception April 14
Submitted by cbaus on Tue, 04/08/2003 - 13:28.Hamilton County Commissioner Phil Heimlich has announced that Senate President Doug White will attend a special reception in Hamilton County, which is open to the public.
While the subject of both men's presentations will be the State of Ohio's current fiscal crisis, this is a great opportunity for pro-concealed carry reformers to meet Sen. White, to thank him for his support for HB12, and to encourage him to fight against restrictive amendments.
When: Monday, April 14th 5:30 PM

Multiple restraining orders fail to restrain; Hamilton County woman dies
Submitted by cbaus on Tue, 04/08/2003 - 10:26.Stephen Chancey met and married his third wife, Joyce, at the Sharonville Alcoholics Anonymous meetings both attended.
That's also where he killed her, shooting her six times when, as she was divorcing him, she had the nerve to show up there after he told her to stay away.
Chancey's third marriage, like his first two, crumbled after his wife accused him of abusing her.
Joyce Lynn Chancey, 44, grew so scared of her husband that she got a restraining order against him on Oct. 29, 2001.

Cincinnati Police and 911 dispatchers fouled up yet another emergency call, and the victim is dead.
Letter to the Editor: Laws should not make law-abiding citizens defenseless

On March 14, the editors of the Repository adopted a pro-HB12 position on the editorial page, and the paper has printed several pro-CCW letters and a pro-CCW op-ed column as well.
