Buckeye Firearms Assoc. volunteer named as candidate for Lt. Gov.
Submitted by cbaus on Tue, 12/13/2005 - 00:05.The Peirce for Ohio Committee announced today that it has selected Mark Noble to run as Lieutenant Governor with Bill Peirce, the Libertarian Party candidate for Governor of Ohio in the upcoming 2006 election.
Noble gave up a career in website design in 2004 in order to pursue his study of electrical and computer engineering at the Ohio State University. His experience in the internet-driven economy – a vital element of Ohio’s future – complements the professional career of Peirce, a Professor Emeritus of Economics at Case Western Reserve University, who has specialized in Public Finance and Industrial Economics.
The selection of Noble as the candidate for Lt. Governor enables the campaign to launch its petition drive for the 5,000 signatures required to run under Ohio's restrictive election laws.
The Peirce/Noble platform, Freedom to Prosper--Freedom to Live, emphasizes creating a favorable environment for business by cutting taxes and regulations, eliminating eminent domain abuse, reforming the property tax to exempt homes and other buildings, allowing parents to choose schools for their children, and comprehensively supporting the entire Bill of Rights.
