Buckeye Firearms Association is proud to announce that we have been named the 2007 "NRA-ILA Volunteer Organization of the Year" by the National Rifle Association Institute for Legislative Action.
The announcement was made in the August 2008 issue of The EVC Update, the Official Publication for the NRA-ILA's national army of Election Volunteer Coordinators.
In the newsletter, NRA-ILA EVC's were informed that Buckeye Firearms Association was nominated for the award by the NRA-ILA's Ohio State Liaison John Hohenwarter, who cited BFA's "tireless efforts and growing impact"...
The article credits this political action committee for being "instrumental in the passage of Ohio Senate Bill 184, which improves Ohio's concealed carry laws and incorporates the 'Castle Doctrine.'"
