FLASH – Possible vote on HB347 next week!

NRA is reporting, and other sources have confirmed that HB347 may receive a vote in committee next Wednesday, November 29.

HB347 passed the Ohio House in March and was assigned to the Senate Judiciary Committee on Criminal Justice, Chaired by Senator Jim Jordan, a strong friend to gun owners.

There will be changes made in the Senate. Before it can become law, it will need to pass out of the Senate Criminal Justice Committee, pass the full Senate, and then, if it’s a good bill, receive another vote by the full House. The bill would then head to Governor Taft for his signature or veto.

We will have updates on the progress of HB347 as they become available.
