Grandma greets intruders with a loaded gun

In yet another example of how firearms are a great tool to stop criminals, WKYC reports how a Summit County great-grandmother used her new firearm to ward off teenage criminals.

Many studies show that guns are used to stop or prevent a crime 2,500,000 times each year in our country. 95% of the time, no shots are ever fired. Would-be victim Eleanor Lynn describes the encounter, “Somebody was breaking into my house so I took the gun out and went to the door. They flew.” So typical it happens 6,500 times every day.

Also important for the community, police were called and apprehended the suspects. This 75 year old women sets a great example of not being a easy victim, defending herself, and in the process helps the police arrest the suspects, saving all her neighbors from similar home invasions. Now that’s a block watch program to be proud of.
