Political donation & tax credit summary
We fell $10 short of our goal of forwarding $2,000.00 to Ohio candidates. While falling short of a goal is not as good as exceeding one, this is still a big deal to the candidates, who greatly appreciate you support. Thank you to everyone who donated.

A total of 23 people donated the $1,990.00 to 15 different candidates including Representatives, Senators, and candidates for the statewide offices of Governor and Attorney General. Donations were made to men and women, Republicans and Democrats, from many different parts of the state, illustrating that the right to own firearms, hunt and defend your family are issues of a general concern, not limited to any one demographic or political party.
Several people told us they could not donate because they had already sent checks directly to candidates, which is great news.
I want to thank all of those who donated. Make sure you enter your donation on line 56 of your Ohio income tax return (Form IT 1040). For those who thought a “free” donation was too good to be true, take a look at how your donation comes back to you as a tax refund. We need to be more powerful this year.
2006 is an election year, and campaigns always need money. Everyone who pays Ohio income tax will have the opportunity to help our friends again this year, for the price of a stamp. It’s a deal you just can’t beat.
Thanks again to everyone who took the time to divert some of your tax money to a pro-gun candidate.
