The State of Ohio has officially joined a Writ of Certiorari in support of the pro-Second Amendment position in the District of Columbia v. Heller gun case.
Thanks to State Attorney General Marc Dann, a Democrat who has earned multiple endorsements from Buckeye Firearms Association, the State of Ohio has joined the states of Texas, Alabama, Alaska, Arkansas, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Utah, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, and Wyoming as Amici Curiae in support of the Second Amendment position.
Additionally, a separate pro-Second Amendment Congressional brief has been filed by Vice President Cheney, 55 Senators, and 250 Members of Congress, and is being attributed as the most congressional signers of any brief in history.
Following are the Ohio Congressmen who signed on:
