We are NOT a non-profit organization. We currently are a registered business and may be involved in political action as much as we wish. We are funded only by our members and patrons. We aren't sponsored or funded by any other organization. We aren't "the gun lobby." We are citizens of the US and Illinois who believe in freedom, safety, and self-reliance. Unliked gun control advocates, we aren't funded by global billionaires pushing their own agenda.

Our purpose was to train civilians in marksmanship skills, thus preparing them for the National Guard, the U.S. military or as a better trained element of the “irregular militia.”
