HB347 to get another hearing, possible vote

HB347, the concealed carry fix it bill is on the House Criminal Justice Committee schedule for Tuesday, March 7 at 10:00 AM in the Statehouse, room 116 (Note room assignment has been changed from initial announcement).

The committee will be accepting a substitute bill at this hearing and it is scheduled for a possible vote.

It is important to understand that the committee is not required to vote on the substitute bill at this meeting, but having given notice, they are likely too.

Buckeye Firearms Association will have a representative at the hearing, and we would love to be joined by supporters of this important legislation.

We will have information on the substitute bill along with our analysis soon after it is made public.

The committee has heard comments from many individuals and organizations reguarding sugested changes to HB347. Having attended every hearing, we believe the proponent arguments far outweighed the opponent arguments.
