YOU are invited to attend SAF Leadership Training Conference May 12, 2007

On May 12, 2007 you have the opportunity to attend the Second Amendment Foundation’s (SAF) Leadership training conference in Ft. Mitchell, Kentucky (just across the river from Cincinnati).

Buckeye Firearms Association leaders will be joining leaders of other grassroots organizations from Ohio and Kentucky. This event is free to participants and all costs for publications and lunch are provided compliments of the SAF.

We thank the Second Amendment Foundation for coming to our backyard to share their wisdom with us and help us become more effective activists.

RE: Invitation to attend a free leadership training conference for Ohio-Kentucky Gun Rights Activists.

Dear Gun Rights Activist,

We all know the anti-gun movement is gaining strength and momentum daily. Their growth over the last two years has been truly phenomenal. During this period their financial base has rapidly surpassed the pro-gun base, while at the same time, the pro-gun movement has remained the same or, in some areas, has lost ground.

Why?

We asked ourselves that question and after careful review we determined that we were lacking sound, motivated, trained leadership at the grass roots level of the pro-gun movement where it is needed most. As a result of our findings, we have developed a leadership training program directed to the concerned pro-gun activist who will take an active role in establishing grass-roots activities in their hometowns.

On Saturday, May 12, 2007 the Citizens Committee for the
Right to Keep and Bear Arms and the Second Amendment Foundation will jointly host a leadership training conference in the Cincinnati, Ohio area at the Drawbridge Inn and Convention Center, 2477 Royal Drive (I-75 at Buttermilk Pike), Ft. Mitchell, Kentucky 41017. This conference is free—ABSOLUTELY FREE! All training materials and handouts as well as lunch will be provided free.

This leadership conference will focus on the nuts and bolts
of grass-roots and direct lobbying, funding sources and methods, dealing with the media, networking and dealing with each other better.

This conference will be intense. We have no desire to “preach to the choir.” We expect those in attendance to put forth their best effort to learn the material and then take it to their clubs, organizations and communities to organize local pro-gun enthusiasts.

A number of state and local Ohio and Kentucky gun rights groups will be participating.

If you are willing to make this type of commitment, then I hope you will accept the invitation to attend the conference.

Just fill out the enclosed form and mail it to me in the enclosed envelope. We are limiting the space to about 75 participants so it is extremely important that you RSVP so we plan for enough luncheon and materials.

If you have any questions, please call me directly at (425)454-7012.

Thank you.

Sincerely,
Alan Gottlieb
