The Virginia news crew murders and media agenda to bury the truth

On Wednesday, August 26th, as the event was broadcast live, a deranged former journalist bent on revenge and a twisted desire to start a race war, murdered two of his former colleagues. We all know the basic story, and many have seen the first-person shooter footage shot by the killer as he murdered Alison Parker and Adam Ward, and wounded Vicki Gardner.

This set the wheels in motion in news rooms across the country - a perfect story for trying to advance the leftists' political football of gun control.

What you have seen in large part is a media hell-bent on pushing their agenda - specifically the desire for more gun control (other agenda items began to roll, but fell flat as facts emerged about the shooter - more on that later).

Before the murdered were cold, the White House, Hillary Clinton, Chuck Schumer and Terry McAullife were all talking about the need for more gun control, before they even knew that the killer had legally purchased the gun and had passed the federally-mandated background check. In the minutes that followed they even tried another old, tired stunt from their playbook, as some began speculating that it might have been a right wing Tea Party member or a deranged Trump supporter mad at the press who committed this heinous act. That was put to a stop quickly when the killer began posting on social media boasting of his crime and putting out his political manifesto. Suddenly the motives had to be buried as fast as possible.

In that moment everything changed for the media. They had a huge problem. The killer was a homosexual African American who had been reprimanded for wearing an 0bama button while reporting on election day. What a headache for these leftist propagandists, as this put the killer in the protective cocoon of three distinct politically-correct privilege groups that are to be protected from any negative comment. So the focus had to become the gun. And while they could not get around mentioning the killer, they certainly have ignored the motivation for murder tied to his race - his desire to start a race war, his homosexuality and his leftist political bent.

So the gun and the NRA had to be the focus - trot out the victims who will go with the anti-gun agenda.

The call for gun control by the father of the murdered Alison Parker has been much discussed and shown on all the networks, with the footage being shown over and over again. What has not been shown over and over again is Tim Gardner, the husband of Vicki Gardner, the survivor, rejecting the calls for new gun control. I only saw Tim Gardner one time in a live feed on Fox News and it has not been repeated. While Parker’s father’s desire to attack our rights is broadcast far and wide, Tim Gardner, equally a victim, is to be ignored. No more live interviews for Tim, since he won’t say the desired things about guns. In fact, if you go looking for his comments online, only the obscure bustle.com covered it.

Unlike the father of Alison Parker, Tim Gardner did not make an appeal to tighten gun control laws in both Virginia and the United States. Instead, he directed the blame solely on [the killer], who appeared to have a long history of mental instability. "[The killer] was determined and he was crazy," Tim Gardner told The New York Times. "He was going to kill her, and he waited until he was on air to do it that way. Place the blame on the individual and not with the tool he used.

The media have been shameless, as has 0bama, Clinton and McAuliffe. I must say I am not surprised by the talking head champions of the First Amendment on the leftist outlets, the networks, CNN, MSNBC, PBS, etc… who will abuse their First Amendment freedoms to attack our Second Amendment rights. What does disappoint me is that Fox News, in their purported effort to remain "fair and balanced," continue to employ discredited hacks like Juan Williams and Geraldo Rivera.

Both have called for more gun control, ignoring the fact that all gun control laws were complied with when the killer bought his Glock pistol. Williams' own wife was recently robbed and openly admitted she wished she had owned a gun to protect herself. Yet her husband, a bleating sheep content to leave her without protection, continues to call for gun bans. Last week, Geraldo Rivera called for the repeal of the Second Amendment, calling it "blind and stupid." This is the same Geraldo who, when arriving in Afghanistan to cover the war over a decade ago, illegally procured a pair of CZ 75 pistols for him and his brother Craig to use while they were there - even bragging on the air about buying them.

“If they’re going to get us, it’s going to be in a gun fight. It’s not going to be a murder. It’s not going to be a crime. It’s going to be a gun fight,” Rivera brazenly opined. Gun control for me, but not for thee. Typical elitist hypocrisy. Both men, in my view, are incompetents who should be fired.

I suspect there are several facts I have laid out in this story you had not heard about, or if you had, you had not heard it repeated. About the killer being an 0bama supporter, the views of Tim Gardner on gun control and, unless you were watching in the very first minutes following the shooting, you may not know of the botched attempt to lay this shooting on conservatives. You have certainly heard no apology for that slander.

The discussion the media have not had is this: All the gun control laws they support were followed. The killer had no criminal record nor had he been adjudicated mentally ill. He passed the required background check. Had this been any other issue the attitude would be, 'well, the law was complied with and that is that.' But you know the Left - a good crisis is not to be wasted, so they are pushing and pushing hard. Though a few politicians have taken the bait and are making noise, other Democrats in Washington and in the states have longer memories and know what happens if they go after gun rights. They get stomped at the ballot box.

So what kind of gun control would have stopped this? It’s the same problem these prohibitionists had following Newtown and other recent mass shootings. The guns were legally purchased. In the case of Newtown the owner was killed by her deranged son to get them. So now they have the problem of admitting what they really want to do to our gun rights as we head into an election year. To admit they want to ban guns is the kiss of death for Democrats and they know it well. They got slaughtered in 1994 following passage of the Clinton Gun Ban, handing the Republicans the U.S. House of Representatives for the first time in forty years.

They can make all the noise they want. We are fortunate Republicans control Congress right now. Were this 2009, no doubt new draconian anti-gun laws would be passed. So as we go into election year 2016, remember this most recent event and remember they are laying in wait to attack our rights when they get the numbers to do so again. Your rights are in jeopardy and are only one election away from being raped. Republicans may not be perfect, but they are by the vast majority pro-gun. Do your homework and vote your gun rights!
