Buckeye Firearms Association Leader Elected to NRA Board of Directors

Sean Maloney of Liberty Township, Ohio, has been elected to the NRA Board of Directors.

A gun rights attorney, Buckeye Firearms Association leader, NRA Benefactor Life member, and co-founder of Second Call Defense, Maloney won the election for the 76th seat on the NRA Board of Directors. Voting took place on April 10 and 11 during the 2015 NRA Annual Meeting in Nashville.

"I am happy to have this opportunity to serve on the NRA Board," said Maloney. "And I'm humbled by the support I've received from NRA, BFA, AR15.com and others across this great country. I will work hard to be worthy of the votes I received and do my best to protect and advance the Second Amendment rights of gun owners."

Winner of the 2010 NRA-ILA Jay M. Littlefield Memorial Volunteer of the Year Award and the 2013 Friends of the NRA Area Volunteer of the Year Southern Ohio Award, Maloney has developed a reputation as one of the hardest working grassroots activists in America.

In his Ohio law practice, he specializes in concealed carry, personal protection, BATF NICS Appeals, and restoration of rights. He is also an NRA Certified Instructor and was a campaign manager and top-producing Election Volunteer Coordinator for the NRA for multiple years.

Maloney was a key figure in the victorious Colorado election in 2013 to recall two Democratic Senators after their support for strict gun-control legislation. He makes regular appearances on NRA News as well as a wide variety of national and Ohio TV and radio news shows.

Maloney is now the second Buckeye Firearms Association leader to be elected to the NRA Board of Directors. Linda Walker was elected to the Board in 2011 and is currently serving her second term.

News of the election results was announced to 20,000 people during the Alan Jackson concert in Nashville on Saturday evening, April 11 to thunderous applause.
