DDN: Woman uses BB gun to scare off intruders

The Dayton Daily News is reporting today that a 23-year-old woman used a BB gun to scare would-be burglars away from her Bath Twp. farm house last Thursday.

The newspaper states that "Jessica Shafford said she was reading poetry at 2:30 p.m....when two men pulled up to the property. One of the men went to the rear of the house and began to remove a screen window."

Shafford told the DDN she got her boyfriend's BB gun, pointed it at the man and ordered him to leave. The men ran back to the truck and drove away.
