The Akron Beacon Journal is reporting that a man attacked a manager of a Mr. Hero restaurant from behind and robbed the business at knifepoint Thursday night.

According to the newspaper, employees at the restaurant, 484 W. Market St., told the Akron Police Department that a man came in around 9:45 p.m. and asked to use the restroom.

When the manager went to unlock the door, police said the man grabbed her from behind, showed a knife and demanded money from the cash register.

Police told the Beacon Journal the robber took cash and left on a bicycle.
