Boone County gained more people than anyplace else in Kentucky between 1995 and 2000, according to new census figures. In all, Boone County had a net gain of 8,300 people. On August 6, the Clevaland Plain Dealer published a letter to the editor calling for stricter gun control laws and opposing gun manufacturer immunity bills.
