Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost talks about gun rights at SHOT Show

Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost attended the 2024 SHOT Show, sponsored by the National Shooting Sports Foundation. He talked to Chris Lee, Midwest Director of Government Affairs, about the Second Amendment rights of Ohio citizens.

Yost specifically discusses a study his office conducted which showed how crime dropped after passage of constitutional carry in Ohio and his support of legislation to prevent credit card companies from tracking purchases at gun stores.

In addition, he provides a quick update on the status of court cases focused on "preemption," or whether cities can pass their own gun laws or whether these laws must be set at the state level to avoid a patchwork of laws and legal traps for innocent gun owners.
