REMINDER: Vote TODAY in the Buckeye State!
Tuesday, May 6 is Election Day in Ohio!
Because voter turnout in primary elections is historically quite low, die-hard gun owners who Vote Freedom First are able to have an even bigger impact on election results. When one considers that the number of hunters, sportsmen, CHL-holders, NRA members, Buckeye Firearms Association donors and Second Amendment supporters in Ohio approaches 1 million strong, the impact that gun owners can have on a primary election cannot be overstated.
The only reason an anti-gun rights candidate gets elected is because gun owners either fail to Vote Freedom First - putting other issue ahead of their Second Amendment rights in voting for an anti-gun person - or they simply stay home.
Please consult the Buckeye Firearms Association voter guide - there may be important races with which you are not familiar, but which can have a big impact on your gun rights. For example, Jim Aslanides, the former state rep who was the primary sponsor of Ohio's 2004 concealed carry law, is running for Republican State Central Committee.
Make sure you are familiar with our endorsed candidates, and then get your friends and family to the polls!
Will you allow a small minority of Ohioans to decide for you the future of your Right to Bear Arms? Will you find excuses for not voting, and entrust your Right to Self-Defense and Security to people who get their opinions on firearms rights from the Cleveland Plain Dealer and Michael Bloomberg?
