Buckeye Firearms Foundation to present at the Ohio School Board Association Conference

School violence is in the news and on parents mind. This year it’s also on the agenda at the Ohio School Board Association (OSBA) Capital Conference. The convention runs November 9-12 at the Greater Columbus Convention Center.

First on the agenda is “To arm or not to arm” presented by John Benner of Tactical Defense Institute and Chris Wallace who is a S.W.A.T. instructor.

Monday, November 10
8:30 AM
Room: Hall D

Attorney Sean Maloney and Buckeye Firearms Foundation President Jim Irvine will be presenting with John Benner the following day to discuss “Protecting our children in school.”

Tuesday, November 11
3:45 PM
Rooms C 223-225.

Most school Superintendents have never attended a class on active killers. It has simply not been offered to them, until now. While children are statistically “safe” in school, violence is the leading cause of death in school for our kids. Every school needs to take this threat seriously.

Encourage your school board members and Superintendent to attend one or both of these educational and enlightening sessions.

There is a trade show that coincides with the conference. Buckeye Firearms Foundation will be in booth 1123. We encourage people to come by and learn the benefits of armed school staff and how we can work with your district to improve their response to active killer events.

Trade show hours are:

Monday 11 AM to 5 PM
Tuesday 10 AM to 4 PM

The annual conference is the second largest in the nation, attracting over 10,000 people school board members, superintendents and others in the educational field.
