There are more stories pertaining to our gun rights in Ohio then we can possibly draw attention to with individual daily commentary. But they are all worthy of mention.

4/10/09: National: Before Arranging Playdates, Ask About Guns

The statistics are misleading. In order to get the "eight children a day die from guns" you have to include all of the "children" who are killed while selling drugs, comitting, gang warfare, comitting robbery and other crimes. Another senseless violent crime in the city of Cleveland. When will they quit wasting their time targeting law-abiding gun owners and go after real criminals?

Protection seems to be the No. 1 reason people seek to obtain their concealed-carry permit to carry a loaded firearm.
Warren County Sheriff Larry Sims said most people who obtain the permit do so to make themselves feel safer and to protect their families.
What other reason did they expect? Protection is the reason that we carry everyday, and everywhere we can.

This is great news for many reasons. One reason is that it means that more people will be able to defend themselves. It also means that CHL holders will have a stronger political voice.
