92% of BFA PAC-endorsed candidates win in 2024 Ohio primary
BFA PAC-endorsed candidates performed well in Ohio's 2024 primary election March 19, with 92% of them winning. Here are some highlights from unofficial vote totals posted Tuesday night:
Bernie Moreno won the hotly contested Republican race for U.S. Senate, beating out Frank LaRose and Matt Dolan. Not only did money play a huge role in this race, but Trump's endorsement and election meddling by Democrats also helped propel Moreno at the polls.
One Democrat-aligned group is reported to have spent $2.7 million on ads to support Moreno, whom Democratic strategists believe is the weakest candidate to face Sherrod Brown in the General Election.
In the race for U.S. House seats in Ohio's 15 districts, seven out of eight BFA PAC-endorsed candidates won their contests.
Of BFA PAC's candidates with a coveted A+ grade, two of three candidates won, including Ohio Senate rock stars Terry Johnson and Tim Schaffer.
