Logic and reason don't apply in the Obama era

by Tim Inwood

I have been watching the ACLU and Justice Department sue all these states with voter ID laws; it has got me thinking and I am really excited. By their logic I can see the next big issue the ACLU and the Justice Department will obviously tackle: gun rights.

That's right, logically that action will be suing the United States Government for violating the rights of American citizens when they want to buy a gun by forcing them to show a picture ID.

What an outrage!

Prior to 1968 mail order gun sales were the norm. All you had to do was snip out the ad, send in your money and the post man brought you the gun and ammo you ordered. There was no background check, no form 4473 to fill out, no registration or asking permission and no photo ID required. By comparison to today, crime was low in the decades prior to the enactment of the Gun Control Act of 1968. It was a glorious time when for most of the country it was easy to exercise our right to keep and bear arms. Then the U.S. Government began infringing on our rights, a terrible injustice and indignity that we had to ask permission to exercise our right to own a gun.

Our path is clear. From this day forward, my friends, there should be restlessness in the streets because we are forced to show a photo ID and fill out a form 4473 to ask permission from the government to exercise a Constitutionally protected right. This outrage must end now! Since the ACLU and Justice Department are suing the various states for forcing voters to prove that they are who they say they are by showing a photo ID, then obviously a photo ID is illegal when tied to any right. So the next step for them obviously is to strike down this horrible, unconstitutional affront to liberty and the Constitution of this great nation. If they are not hypocrites they will take up this cause immediately.

Sadly, of course, we know this administration and the ACLU are hypocrites and they won't take up this cause, though by their logic and the arguments they are making in the voter rights cases, they should.

We can't vote out the ACLU, but we can vote the hypocrites in the 0bama administration and his bloody, evil minion Eric Holder in the Justice Department, who has tried to destroy our rights with his Fast and Furious plot to smuggle arms to Mexican Criminals, OUT.

This year is so important, my friends, I can not stress it enough. Vote early, absentee or get out, taking family and friends to the polls on November 6th to set things right. The future of our nation depends on you.
