NEED CALLS to Governor Kasich to sign gun bill
The fight is not over! Business groups are pushing hard to get Gov. Kasich to veto SB 199! And we need to push back!
Call Gov. Kasich NOW!
We got SB 199 through the Ohio House and Senate. And with more than 10,000 email messages and phone calls, we moved the bill to Gov. Kasich's desk.
But the opponents of this pro-gun bill have NOT given up. They're pulling out all the stops to pressure Kasich to veto this bill!
We need your calls NOW to urge the Governor to SIGN SB 199 into law!
Be firm but polite. In your own words, tell him, "SB199 makes several important changes to Ohio's firearms laws that are important to me. Please sign SB199."
Details on SB 199 ...
SB 199 is an important bill that would allow active duty members of the U.S. Armed Forces to carry a handgun without a license AND an amendment to this bill would allow employees to store a gun in their vehicle while in the parking lot at work without threat of losing their job.
Military members protect our country and risk their lives while deployed. And we MUST allow them to protect themselves in their everyday lives.
A key provision in SB 199 also allows employees to remain armed while driving to and from work. Right now, your employer can ban guns not only inside but outside in the parking lot preventing you from exercising your right of self defense as you travel to and from work. This must end.
