From the story:
He was charged with falsification after a background check showed that Saint-John had a long criminal history, including a child molestation conviction in Georgia, where he spent time in prison.
Buckeye Firearms Association would like to be the first pro-gun organization to commend the Sheriff’s office for using the tools available to them, and stopping this criminal from getting a license. If more law enforcement administrations would let their rank and file go after people who commit gun crimes the number of guns in the hands of criminals would be lessened.
When law enforcement uses the safeguards in the system, it works. That is true whether someone falsifies their concealed carry license application or the form that is filled out when someone purchases a gun.
