The passing of Aaron Zelman: A Tribute To A True Patriot
by Chris Chumita
The gun rights movement lost one of its fiercest defenders with the passing of Aaron Zelman on December 21st, 2010. Zelman was the Executive Director of Jews For The Preservation Of Firearms Ownership (JPFO).
Zelman was well known for his no-compromise stance when it came to the Second Amendment. He boldly practiced what he preached and helped to expose the abuses of government organizations, such as the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives. Zelman also tirelessly worked to ensure that people will never forget the horrors of gun control and how it often leads to genocide.
Zelman was a founding member of the JPFO and served as its Executive Director for 20 years. During that time, the JPFO produced some of the most powerful Second Amendment documentaries in history, such as Innocents Betrayed and The Gang. In addition to numerous hard hitting books, the JPFO produced an eight-part comic books series that discussed the Second Amendment entitled Gran'pa Jack.
At this time, it is unknown what the future holds for the JPFO. It is noted on their website that the Board of Directors is charting the future of the organization and a memorial tribute has been posted.
Hopefully someone will take the reins and continue in Zelman's footsteps. Aaron Zelman will go down in history as a true patriot who fought for our right to keep and bear arms.
Here is a video with Zelman appearing on the Alex Jones show.
